FAMILY UNITY FAIR:  CDRC hopes that you made it out to the 1st Annual Family Unity Fair in Festival Park on April 14th, 2018. This year’s event, which was well attended by the public, was co-sponsored by CDRC and Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.  We had 60+ vendors whose services included disaster and recovery, housing assistance, eliminating hunger, clothing, mental health and family services, just to name a few!  The Family Unity Fair was a huge success and we are already planning for next year’s event.

Family Unity Fair – Be sure to stop by and see us at the Disaster Training Tent in Fayetteville’s Festival Park, on April 14, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  We will have ongoing activities on how you can prepare for a disaster and actions to take if a disaster impacts you!

Come on out and join in on “all” of the activities at Fayetteville’s Festival Park on April 14, 2018!  The Family Unity Fair is co-sponsored by Cumberland Disaster Recovery Coalition and Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.

The Family Unity Fair, co-sponsored by Snyder Memorial Baptist Church and Cumberland Disaster Recovery Coalition, will provide our Cumberland County residents with access to agencies and services that can make a difference in their lives.
Services provided will include disaster preparedness & relief, children’s services, employment and housing assistance, health services (with a healthy family and health screening area), and veteran services. The Disaster Awareness and Preparedness tent will host several guest speakers and training, and a Ministry Impact Fair will provide immediate assistance for persons in need.
We will have food vendors on hand and lots of fun activities and crafts for the children. Come on out to learn about some of the great programs and offerings available to our Cumberland County residents, and have a good time while you’re at it!
For our Agency, Vendors, and Nonprofit friends who would like to participate in the Family Unity Fair, we have tents, booths and chairs that are available for a minimal donation. Please contact Cumberland Disaster Recovery Coalition, at (910) 491-3694, or director@cdrcnc.org for further details about participating or sponsoring the event. Donors can have their ads placed in the AsOne Dedication Book and marketing materials.
